How TM is Different?
The TM technique is a simple, natural, and effortless mental technique practiced for 20 minutes twice daily. TM allows the mind to settle inward and experience a unique state of deep inner calm, known as restful alertness.
Unlike meditation practices that involve concentration, controlled breathing or monitoring thoughts, Transcendental Meditation uses a simple and effortless procedure that allows the mind to settle naturally toward quieter levels of awareness. It requires no change in beliefs or lifestyle and is taught personally by a certified TM teacher to ensure correct and effective practice..

How TM is Practised?
Transcendental Meditation is practised sitting comfortably with the eyes closed for about 20 minutes twice a day. The technique requires no concentration, controlled breathing or effort to stop thoughts; the mind is simply allowed to settle naturally toward quieter levels of awareness. Once learned from a certified TM teacher, it can be practised independently almost anywhere.
