Vision
MEFSCI, the Middle East Foundation for the Science of Creative Intelligence, is a non-profit educational organization, founded in Lebanon in 1974 to promote the principles, knowledge and practical applications of the Science of Creative Intelligence across all sectors of society in Lebanon and the Middle East, with the aim of supporting individual growth and societal development.
Mission
MEFSCI’s vision is to:
- Raise individual and collective consciousness
- Reduce individual stress and social tensions
- Improve individuals’ physical, mental, and social well-being
- Foster ideal social behavior
- Increase coherence and harmony among all segments of society
- Decrease violence and crime in society
- Enhance economic well-being of individuals and society.
To achieve these goals, MEFSCI is committed to training and qualifying teachers to effectively deliver a wide range of programs, training courses, and seminars based on the principles and knowledge of the Science of Creative Intelligence, targeting both individuals and institutions.
Global Affiliation
MEFSCI is part of the global Transcendental Meditation (TM) organization, founded in 1958 and now active in over 113 countries across the Americas, Europe, MENA, and the Asia Pacific regions. The primary goal of the global TM organization is to improve the quality of life of individuals and society worldwide by promoting the teachings and practice of Transcendental Meditation programs (www.tm.org).
The global TM organization places strong emphasis on scientific research to explore the benefits of its programs and to encourage broader adoption as tools for improving individual and societal well-being. Over 600 scientific research studies have been conducted at more than 200 universities and research institutions in 30 countries, demonstrating the wide-range benefits of these programs on the physical, mental, emotional, and social health of individuals who learn and regularly practice them, as well as their positive impact on society as a whole—contributing to a more peaceful, harmonious, and prosperous world.
